Darksiders II: Jay Fitzloff Talks DLC

In a recent interview with G4TV, Jay Fitzloff talked about the downloadable content for the upcoming Darksiders II. The Limited and Collector’s Edition versions of Darksiders II will both come packaged with a free download code for Argul’s Tomb, the first set of downloadable content for the game. In regards to how Vigil Games will handle DLC, this is what Fitzloff had to say. You can make the jump to see the full video interview.

“Our main goal with DLC is not just to be something simple, like a quick side quest that’s like, go find an item and bring it back, there you go… It’s full content. Our first one is called Argul’s Tomb, and that denotes that it’s an entire new dungeon in the game. On the surface, if I say it’s a new dungeon, people kinda say, ‘Oh, is that it?’ but if you play Darksiders II and see how big our dungeons are, how intricate they are, and what that means, you’ll realize I’m not talking about a quick dungeon you’re done with in a few minutes, I’m talking about hours and hours of gameplay.”
