The latest pre-order numbers for Darksiders II are now available. This week Darksiders II jumped up to the 13th spot on the Xbox 360 and the 15th spot for the PS3. Both versions jumped up a few spots due to the release of the latest Ghost Recon title and Dragon’s Dogma. Black Ops II for the PS3 currently sits in between the two versions of Darksiders II and I expect that to leapfrog over Darksiders II next week. There are a few soon to release games that are below Darksiders II such as Lollipop Chainsaw and Spec Ops: The Line, so I imagine Darksiders II might temporarily drop down a spot or two in the next few weeks.
Looking at the hard numbers the 360 version added 3,780 pre-orders, giving it a total of 64,100. The PS3 added 3,534 pre-orders, giving it a total 58,957. Almost every game on the list added more pre-orders this week compared to last week, including Darksiders II. With 11 more weeks on the list, I still suspect that in total, pre-order numbers will top the 300,000 mark between the two consoles. Go ahead and make the jump to check out this weeks full listing.
