Latest Pre-Order Numbers for Darksiders II

The latest pre-order numbers for Darksiders II are now in and we have some movement this week. The Xbox 360 version added 5,422 pre-orders giving it a total of 74,317. The PS3 version added 3,959, giving it a total of 66,621. The Xbox 360 version now sits in 11th place after leapfrogging over Animal Crossing and Final Fantasy XIV Online. The PS3 version is a bit further behind, now at the #16 spot. There isn’t that much room for the Xbox 360 to move up in the foreseeable future, but as we get closer to release, I imagine pre-orders will jump up even more rapidly.

The original Darksiders ended up with 83,220 total pre-orders for the Xbox 360 version. At 74,317, reserves for the Darksiders II are inching closer and likely will pass up the original version within 3 weeks. Overall I’m still anticipating over 300,000 total pre-orders between the two versions. Still missing from the list is the PC version and it will be interesting to see if this version even makes the list by the time the game releases.
