The latest pre-order numbers are now available for Darksiders II and this week we don’t see much out of the ordinary. The Xbox 360 version added 2,941 pre-orders, giving it a total of 79,900, while the PS3 version added 2,311 pre-orders, giving it a current total of 70,640. With this weeks pre-orders in, both versions of the game are now right on the tail of the final pre-order numbers of the original Darksiders and will definitely surpass it within the next week or two.
The 360 and PS3 versions now sit at the 13th and 18th slot on the list, respectively. This is a few slots down from last week courtesy of soon to release titles Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. Overall there are 7 games in the Top 50 that will be releasing this week, so I’m anxious to see if the PC version of Darksiders II is able to crack the Top 50 list next week.
