Over at Game Trailers the fourth episode of Boss Fight Fridays is now available and this one highlights Basileus. Each week Game Trailers is looking at one of the bosses from Darksiders II.
Jay Fitzloff once again provides commentary and this time he gives some context as to where this boss fits in with the overall story. There are some minor storyline elements revealed, so be forewarned. This particular battle is a bit unique as it changes midway through the fight when Basileus jumps on top of a giant spider known as Achidna. It’s worth noting that all of the bosses that have been shown thus far in the Boss Fight Fridays are not actually full blown bosses. Many of them are just mini-bosses or in some cases, just massive enemies that you will encounter several times throughout the quest. The actual bosses, well, Vigil Games is waiting until the game ships on August 14th before you can feast your eyes on them.
