Over at Game Trailers the first episode of Boss Fight Fridays has debuted and this one highlights The Wailing Host. Presumably every Friday, or every other Friday, an exclusive video is going to pop up at Game Trailers highlighting one particular boss from Darksiders II. Obviously with such a regular segment, there is going to be tons of spoilers. Not just what the actual boss looks like and how to defeat it, but also with the gameplay commentary that is provided during the playthrough.
In the case of this video, Jay Fitzloff provides commentary and gives away a lot of stoyline elements. He talks about the overall context of where the boss battle fits into the storyline, along with what Death’s overall objective is at that point in the game. Honestly, I think there is a bit too much being revealed here, so I only suggest checking out this video if you don’t mind having part of the storyline slightly spoiled for you. In general, if you want the game’s storyline to seem completely fresh and new when it releases, now might be a good time to start a media blackout, as more and more will be revealed in the coming weeks.
