A few weeks back part 1 of the prequel comic for the upcoming Darksiders II was released. Titled, Death’s Door, the prequel comic follows Death in a time period before the Apocalypse. He is on a mission to destroy a rogue demon, chasing the creature across magical realms and even through time. The comic is being worked on by Roger Robinson and it will be released tri-weekly over the course of five weeks.
Over at Dark Horse Digital, part II is now available for download at the cost of 99 cents. In this part of the comic, Death meets up with The Horsemaster, where he is in need of a special favor in order to be able to circumvent The Charred Council and reach Earth. It is here that we learn the lore about the actual horses of the horsemen and how Death first acquired Despair.
