Joe Madureira Talks at Comic Con 2012

Darksiders II creative designer Joe Madureira was present at the San Diego Comic-Con last week and fielded many questions. Throughout the discussion, Madureira talks about the overall game industry and how it creatively differs from the comic-book industry. However, he does touch on a lot of Darksiders II material, in particular a lot about what we already know concerning the loot system and many of the rpg elements that differ the game from its predecessor.

Perhaps more interesting, but Madureira fielded a lot of questions about the future of the series and his own projects. The topic of Darksiders III came up a few times and while we obviously have nothing to confirm, he did mention his desire to make a third game. In particular he seems to have great interest in Strife, one of the other Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He also stated that since development of Darksiders II has come to a close, he has moved on to a new video game project that has yet to be revealed. The audio and video quality isn’t great, but go ahead and make the jump to check out the video.
