VGChartz Darksiders II Pre-Orders

The latest VG Chartz pre-order numbers are now in for Darksiders II. While we have been reporting on the updated pre-order numbers each week here at Darksiders Dungeon, it should be worth noting that it is unclear on exactly how accurate some of these numbers really are. In fact, speaking with some of the THQ folks, I can confirm that the VG Chartz numbers are way off from the actual pre-order numbers that they have received. Nevertheless, it does give somewhat of a comparative study.

In any case, according to VG Chartz, the Xbox 360 version of Darksiders II added 2,998 pre-orders, bringing it to a total of 90,038. The PS3 had a bigger jump, adding 3,435 pre-orders, now totaling 79,557. The 360 version now sits at #12 on the listing while the PS3 version climbed one spot to the #14 position. There is now just 1 game on the Top 50 listing that is set to release prior to Darksiders II, so it seems unlikely that the PC version will end up cracking the list.
