The final listing of Darksiders II Pre-Orders is now available. As usual, take these numbers with a grain of salt as VG Chartz is notorious for not being the most accurate of places to get hard numbers. In any case the Xbox 360 version finished off with 122,201 while the PS3 version finished off with 98,220 for the US alone. The games are now respectively #12 and #13 on the Top 50 listing. The PC version didn’t quite make it onto the Top 50 listing.
In any case, regardless of what the real final pre-orders numbers are for the US and across the world, we know a few things. It is the second highest pre-order title in THQ history and final numbers have far surpassed that of the original Darksiders. Clearly a success already and this is just the beginning. The game is set for release at midnight tonight across the US, with a European release scheduled for next week. Finally after the long wait and a two month delay, Darksiders II is finally coming out.
