The first downloadable content for Darksiders II will be releasing on Tuesday September 25th worldwide, with the lone exception being PS3 owners in Europe, who will get it one day later on September 26th. Titled Argul’s Tomb, this DLC pack adds two full dungeons, as well as some additional weapons and other content. The new area can be accessed after completing the first three major realms of the game.
For those that purchased the Collector’s or Limited Edition, Argul’s Tomb will come to you free of charge. The DLC code should be in the original package when you purchased the game. For those of you holding off for the Nintendo Wii U version of Darksiders II, Argul’s Tomb will be available on disc when the game ships on November 18th. Argul’s Tomb is a new gameplay zone, which includes two challenging new dungeons, new enemies to best and unique legendary loot to collect. Tailored towards players that have finished at least the first three zones of the main game, Argul’s Tomb adds an additional challenge for gamers of all levels.
Any new purchaser of the Limited Edition version of Darksiders II will find a unique code in their game box entitling them to download this first content pack for free. Users should follow the instructions on the card to redeem their content. For all other customers Argul’s Tomb is available to download for 560 MS Points / $6.99.
Argul’s Tomb will be included on the disc at launch for Wii U along with additional bonus content.
