Just like Thane, he sells combat maneuvers to Death in exchange for Gilt. He was once a human warrior, and was one of the few people to defeat the champion of the Gilded Arena.

If you pre-ordered Darksiders II from Gamestop, and obtained the Death Rides pack, then you will be able to obtain a quest from Draven to destroy all of the Bloodless.
