Ice Skeletons are enemies found in a few different places, where they are different levels.

[edit] The Veil
They are the first enemies that Death encounters in the game, while progressing through The Veil. They are very weak, come in groups, and meant to orient the player and help them learn the combat gameplay mechanics. All of the Ice Skeleton's in the Veil are level 1 creatures.
Death will also fight Ice Skeletons within The Dark Fortress. Death can find them encased in large masses of ice. If he attacks the ice, they will come out and fight. However, some automatically break out of the ice as soon Death walks past.
[edit] Lair of the Deposed King
They can also be found within the Lair of the Deposed King. At this level, they are effectively stronger versions of Skeletons. They are found near the end of the dungeon, and some are encased in ice.
[edit] Strategy
The Ice Skeletons are weak enemies. They have a short ranged attack that is easily dodgeable. When in groups, take out multiple Ice Skeletons out with a heavy secondary weapon, such as a mace or an axe.
