The Soul Splitter is an item that gives Death the unique ability to split himself into two entities, Life and Death, allowing him to be two places at once. When Death uses this item, his death form is a statue that looks similar to his Reaper Form. Death's life form is a transparent green figure where he can control and move around freely.

The Soul Splitter allow Death to be in more than one place at a time. This could be used to step on multiple floor switches at the same time, solving puzzles along the way. Death can also use one of his forms to pull a lever or switch to reveal a passage, while the other form of Death can traverse through the level.
