[edit] Overview

This is the Destroyer's kingdom. The demons howl his name as they sharpen their knives. The angels scream it as their flesh is shorn away. The mangled corpses of man rise to serve him, his black will coursing through their veins.

He'll victor in the Final War has carried the Destroyer to triumphal heights. Those who stood against him were slain or shackled... forgotten. Now his Black Throne dominates the horizon, crackling with its unholy aura. Nothing stands between the Destroyer and an eternity of ruin.

[edit] Darksiders

He is depicted as a fiery dragon that has flames covering much of his body. The Destroyer has massive red wings, allowing him to fly above his prey. During the second phase, The Destroyer appears as a fallen angel.

[edit] The Destroyer's Birth

The Destroyer was formally Abaddon, the leader of the Angels. During the Apocalypse, Abaddon fell victim to Straga, but he was not killed. It is later Lilith, a demon with influential powers, convinced Abaddon that ruling in Hell was better than serving in Heaven. Abaddon then went through a transition, as a fallen angel, he became a demon known as The Destroyer.

As the Destroyer, he imprisoned Samael within the Scalding Gallow.

[edit] Triggering Armageddon

The Destroyer had Azrael break six of the seven seals, which triggered Armageddon. However, The Destroyer wanted the seventh seal protected at all costs, as breaking it would cause the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse to join the battle.

[edit] Boss Battle

After War defeats The Destroyer he will earn The Final Challenger Achievement or Trophy.
