[edit] Overview
The Griever is one of the five Chosen demons by The Destroyer. It resides in the subway of The Hollow, alongside its pets, the Swarm. The Griever is the second boss that War must defeat and take the Heart of the Chosen. War will encounter The Griever early on in the dungeon, but finally gets the best of the Griever by slamming a cart into her, and eventually pulling out her heart.
After War defeats The Griever he will earn the Rocked Your Face Off Achievement or Trophy.
[edit] Strategy
The Griever can be an especially difficult battle. The key is knowing exactly when War has enough time to tremor punch the train cart into Griever in-between the bombardments. First, make sure to smash the ice blocking the path of the train car. This can be tricky, as Griever's laser tempers the ice and makes it impossible to destroy until it cools down. So time your smashes carefully, and watch your movement, making sure to be far away from the ice you are trying to break, so the laser doesn't accidentally hit it. Remember, you can hide behind the train car if necessary! After clearing the path, wait for the opportunity to smash the car into Griever's leg, giving War the opportunity to first smash the protect ice spike then damage the sensitive underbelly.
